As Breakthrough Adventure's first event I wanted to do something super cool! So we reserved a voyager canoe on Wilderness Inquiries big Fall River Canoe Event. We will be one canoe of many floating down the Mississippi River!

If you've never been, Wilderness Inquiry (WI) has large 10 person canoes that are paddled voyager style. Each boat has a trained Wilderness Inquiry Captain and I Anna Klimmek will be your host.

We'll Paddle from 1-4pm and WI handles all of the logistics boats, shuttle from the put in site to the put out site. All we have to do is paddle.

We've got 8 spots reserved, so room for 8 women. And since it is Breakthrough Adventure's core value to create community, we shall gather a couple of hours prior to the event for one of Anna's famous salads and meet each other.

We'll meet up at 11:30 am on the East River Flats and have a little picnic together then join the larger group of paddlers at 1pm for the big ride!
